CBT therapy in Victoria BC

If your mind won't stop spinning, worrying, catastrophizing, replaying, or criticizing, CBT can help. CBT is structured and practical: we learn to notice patterns, test new ways of responding, and build skills that reduce anxiety and lift mood over time.

Approach: Goal-oriented plans with thought tools, behavioural experiments, and coping skills you can use in real life.

Focus

  • Anxiety and worry cycles
  • Low mood, self-criticism, and motivation
  • Rumination, overthinking, and sleep disruption
  • Procrastination, avoidance, and “stuck” patterns

What to expect

We'll set clear goals, track patterns (thoughts, feelings, behaviours), and practice new responses between sessions. I keep it collaborative and tailored.

FAQs

  • Is there homework?
Often, yes. I keep it realistic: small, doable experiments that build momentum rather than overwhelm you.
  • How long?
Many CBT plans are 6–12 sessions, depending on what you're working on. If things are more complex (trauma, burnout, long-standing patterns), we can extend or blend CBT with other approaches.
  • Can We Meet Online?
Yes, we'll make sure you have a setup that feels private and supportive.
